Closed School Transcripts

The Archdiocese of Milwaukee holds transcripts for some closed or merged schools. Transcripts or student records can only be issued to the following:

• the individual requesting his/her own record
• the parent or legal guardian of a child under 18 years old
• by a background check company. Requests made by companies or third-parties must be accompanied by an authorized release signed by the person (or legally qualified guardian) whose record is being requested.

Transcripts are not available to genealogists.

How to Obtain Students Records
In general, if a school has closed or merged, but the parish is still active, the parish office will have the student transcripts. 

• If the records are located in the Archives, contact us at 414-769-3463 or [email protected].
• If the school is open or records are kept at an open school or parish, contact the school or parish directly.
